flower power
Flower power pin
I brought a body warmer for my youngest daughter, she loved it but it had a logo on it that we didn't like so I decided to cover it x
I brought a body warmer for my youngest daughter, she loved it but it had a logo on it that we didn't like so I decided to cover it x
Here's the result....... She loves it :)
I made this pin on felt broach from brightly coloured scraps of felt and ribbon.
Hand cut and stitched one off x
TIP- sew a large safety pin onto the back so it can be removed when washing the jacket.
Following the flower theme I thought I'd share with you my daughters cute bedroom window.
I decided to decorate her bedroom and found these cute flower wall stickers online.
I decided to use them on the window instead of the wall........looking cute x

Using sketches/Sketch contest
Happy Valentines Day xoxox
I love using sketches but never stick to the sketch exactly, I just use it as a guide.I love Becky Fleck page maps they are so easy to use and adapt. follow the link to her blog
"Cake"
Heres my layout for the pebbles sketch contest.
I used Bo Bunny love letters papers.
I really love the colours and how they matched my photos of my girls enjoying cake!!! xx
Heres the sketch that I used by Becky Fleck
TIP- I always mark out where photos are to be placed so
I can gut out the center and use the pretty paper that would be hiden underneath.
This Layout was made from a whole sheet of "Love Letters"
and a strip of "Love Letters Flutter"
I used a Heart paper doilie that I got in a pack from Asda.
I sprayed it with a mixture of metalic paint and water in spritz bottles.
My title is "Cake" from these gorgeous glitter letters by Thickers "Lullaby"
I do like a bit of bling and decided to add some pink bling
to the dots of the ribbon at the bottom of the Lay out.
I also like to collect things to put in my stash,
I used a mini pink bun case to the left with another heart to embellish......
I used stickers from my stash that were free from an old magazine.
The heart embellishment is made from paper scraps and foam pads.
I really enjoyed making this Lay out........ Wish me luck x

valentines hearts
I made these paper hearts to decorate my mirror for valentine day. They are very quick and simple to make..... X
You will need card, stapler, string and brads (paper fastener ).
These can be made from any colours for any occasion.
You will need card, stapler, string and brads (paper fastener ).
These can be made from any colours for any occasion.
The first design is made from cutting strips of the same width.
Cut 2 strips @ 12" 2@11" 2@10" and 2@9"
Staple the ends together to form the top of the heart.
TIP- fix the string with the staple.
Bend the other strips round and fix with a brad.
For the second design make the heart the same as the first.
Before fixing the bottom with the brad, punch a hole next to the staple and pull the top down to the bottom and fix both with the brad.
These would look great in a child's bedroom or nursery.

Christmas scrap book layouts
''Fur babies''
I made this lay out in memory of my beautiful cat who died just before Christmas :(
He loved Christmas and would sleep under the tree every christmas. We all love Christmas especially our little dog star, she loves to open her presents xx
This is my favourite Christmas lay out.
I used a whole sheet tore out the middle and rolled the paper to reveal the photo underneath. I added embellishments to the left side and stuck bling in the flower centres.
I used a doilie and added layered book paper held apart with foam pads, I inked and faux stitched the edge.
Added blooms and bling a 3 pins.
''Furby''
Dayna with the original furby
she was so pleased on Christmas morning to get not one but two furbies xx
Dayna's 1st Christmas
Looking cute in her festive dress.
''Let it snow''
I made this from a recycled Christmas card, scraps of paper and a few embellishments :-)
I brought these papers last year I loved that there non traditional colours, just needed the right photos to compliment them. Sometimes it's worth waiting...... Xx
I absolutely love the snow...
We can't wait to get out and have some family fun altogether.
