snow fun!!!

Here's a round canvase I made for an xmas pressie.

 I really like how its turned out.xx

We have had about 6" of snow over the last few days!!

 My girls have had soooooooo much fun playing in the snow.

 As soon as lowyn wakes up she askes for her boots xx

 I had to show this photo of Lowyn.

 She looks so cute !!!

We were going to do a craft fair and were looking for santa hats, when we came across this suit.

Lowyn quickly put it on and i snapped her x

Photography class fav's

These are my 2 favorite photos that I've taken over the last few weeks. Using what I'd learnt, I armed myself with my camera and went to the garden centre.

I really liked these Orchids.

I took a close up to show the  detail of these beautiful flowers.

The photo looks quite spring like to me, strange as its Autumn lol .

This is my absolute fav pic!!!

These masks were for sale at the Christmas section.

So I got Dayna to try one on, made her eyes really stand out x

its just something different that's why I like it .

This Canvase is of my little girl Lowyn and her little friend Rilley whilst potty training.

                                This detail shows mock stitching along the edge and around the hearts.
                                 I then also stamped some detail onto some of the hearts.

Christmas Canvases Yes I've said the "C" word !!!

 I have been soooooooooo busy the last week making Christmas Canvases ready for the Christmas fairs
Hopefully I'll make some pennies I mean pounds for Christmas lol.

We took Our girls Trick or Treating!
They were both soooooooooooo excited. They both looked lovely all dressed up.
They both ran around knocking on doors with pumpkins and got lots of lovely goodies.
I love that so many people are willing to take part xx It's all about the kids having FUN!!!!

up coming christmas fair

Hi all there is an up coming christmas fair at Birchwood primary school Martleshem. On 3rd December at 3:30 till 5:30.

felt flower

My daughter Dayna modeling my hat x (had to pay her with her own broach)!!!

She's NOT silly!

Whilst blog surfing I came across felt flower broaches on Bugs and Fishes by Lupin blog and decided to give them ago, as I have plenty of felt in my stash .

First I made cardboard templates by stamping and cutting out flowers By Rhonna Farrer

I stamped my flower 3 times and left 1 whole and cut the other 2 down to size.

I drew around templates onto my felt and cut out with nice sharp scissors.

I stitched around the 2 biggest flowers with contrasting thread.

I decided to use a funky brad instead of a button. I pierce through all 3 layers with my pokey tool.Then fastened the brad.

Finally I stitched on a safety pin and pinned to my hat!

I'm very pleased with the result. Thankyou Lupin for the fab idea x

recycling scrapbooking

I made these pages from recycled gift bags.

The butterfly embellishment is the gift tag that came with the bag.

The ribbon held the tag to the bag.

The paper was a little smaller than 12x12" so I added a strip of purple card.

I matted the photos onto lilac card and punched the edge.

I cut out a chick and bunny from left over paper, then added a few embellishments.

SOOOOOOOOOO Excited!!!!

Hi all I'm so excited! I've signed up for another Big picture class. This is my 3rd, Great photos with any camera by Elisha snow. It start on Thursday and I've been so looking forward to this as I love taking photos. I know the basic but am hoping to learn a lot as Elisha's photos look great. Maybe the kids will stop running when I get the camera out lol. http://www.bigpictureclasses.com I love this site take a look. I've also taken 2 of May Flaums classes, Hybrid class and use your stash which were both fantastic. So I have high hopes x
